Prettiest egg so far!

This is the first egg from a pullet hatched from a Cuckoo Marans hen and Ameracauna rooster. I love the color and the speckles! My wife wants to blow it out and save the shell but I need crap like that cluttering up the house like I need extra-sticky chicken poop stuck to my shoes. It is a pretty egg, though.

I saved the very first egg I got by blowing it out. It sits in a special little sugar bowl that my grandmother gave me. Two treasures.

I have a pixie egg..only one my girls ever laid..and it sits in a nest my mom found..I have three nests..one is woven like and small..my hubby found one too and I kept it.lol..then I found one. I live on a ridge and nests get blown around.

Tell her you took a photo of it, so she can look at it any time she wants to see her favorite egg. Then scramble it and serve it as brunch.
