~~Prettiest Sebright CONTEST~~

I already entered my silver roo... but I'll throw out a pic of my buff pullet. She is a pet. The buffs I have seen are too big for show standard, probrably one reason they are not listed with the ABA just yet. The more correct the type on a sebright, usually the less fertile they are. I have talked to other breeders who think it's inbreeding... I think it is simply their tail angle. The hen's tail (if correct) would be in the way of a true "connection" - if you catch my drift.

Anywho... give me a moment to upload... I'll be back.

Very beautiful!

She has the best personality too... the hardest I ever cried over a chicken was a buff sebright hen... she had a knack for getting out of her pen (she would know the weak spots in the netting and tarps) and anyways, a owl or hawk got her. I doubled over. I couldn't stop and I couldn't believe I was boo-hooing over a chicken like that. Don't get me wrong, I get depressed when I lose one and I am crabby for a few days, but this was outright squalling. LOL.... they fly into my arms like snow white in the woods when I walk into the pen. LOVE IT! They also fly into the feed bucket and help themselves as you walk by.
