So my roo Jimmy does not have the correct comb! Darn. I think he's so pretty.

yeah, this doesn't mean you love Jimmy less. (LOL) Just that a ABA judge wouldn't be able to get past it, and that is the judges loss for not taking the time to really get to know Jimmy.

Seriously... as long as you are enjoying them, keep whatever birds you want!

Is Jimmy even a sebright? He looks almost more like a mix... very pretty though.

Sorry for bringing into question Boy II's comb. I just didn't know if you realized Sebrights have rose combs. I'm thinking he might be an OEGB also. Which would be you have an even rarer bird!!!

You could always call the hatchery and see if they have Silver Laced Old English Game Bantams..... I originally wanted OEGB but couldn't find them ANYWHERE, which is how I ended up with the sebrights. They look very similar except for the combs. Good luck in your investigations!

Okay, lesson for the day is over. I called Estes and they do have Sebrights and OE bantams. So we have one of each..... And I know what the different types of combs are called now. I was always curious on the different combs but never took the time to look it up.... Thank you for the compliment on Boy II... The three of them are a real hoot to watch strut and run and dance.
