Just a Copper Colored Tin Roof on the Coop and Run. Coop has 2 inch insulation on the ceiling and walls and paneling over that. No Snow, but it was 114 for 3 months this summer and never got over 92 in the coop. Insulation works for both extremes for me

That is a great Idea. I really learned a lot during the process and think some of the nuggets may help others.

Indeed....and you dont have to worry about a snow load on the structure.....
