Pretty rooster at the feed store

He's really beautiful, his comb is dark, and his eyes are big and black! I was
Just curious what kind he is? There are so many breeds I feel it might be hard for me to look on my own~

It's a very dark purple, almost burgundy, it's quite nice

Got some better pics, the lady guessed when I asked her, a mix between an astralorp and a polish?

I can definately see the Polish in him, but what could make his comb dark? The best pic of the color is probably the first one, what else have purpleish red combs and darker beaks?

He does look like a silkie cross.

If his body skin looks totally normal- check under wing and vent, then the darkish face could be from gypsy face. It pigments the head only, leaving the rest of body normal..

If it doesn;t have extra toe and has normal body skin, then it's probably really polish- lorp cross.

but if his skin shows a sootiness and some black inside the vent, I'd say probably silkie cross...
