Still new to hatching so just double checking Candled our eggs todays for the first time this round while momma hen was down eating this morning. All eggs look like they have decent growth except this one. Should I just toss it next time shes away from her eggs? Its just that ring and nothing else. Its day 9.

I'm no expert, but I would wait a few more days until the next time you candle them, just to be sure. It would be terrible if you tossed the egg and a half-formed chick popped out

It wouldn't hurt anything to just leave it, right? No harm done? If it hatches, it hatches, if not, it doesn't.
