Pretty sure I have a Roo....

I am pretty sure this is a roo, but looking for confirmation He/she is 4 months old, but sure doesn't act very roo-ish. He/she runs from everything. I am waiting to hear the crowing and then chicken soup it is.

Definitely a cockerel. Like Wyandottes7 said, some roosters are brave, and some are absolute cowards (I have one like that).

He looks like an Amaracana, is that what he is? If so maybe you can sell him unless you want to eat him and that's ok too!

Cockerel. At 4 months he's still just a baby, so he'll grow up soon enough.

X5 on cockerel. The good news is he appears to be a true Ameraucana rather than an Easter Egger, so you probably won't have any trouble re-homing him. )

Yes, he is a pure Ameraucana. The gal I got him from shows her birds and he wasn't "perfect" enough to show. I hope I can re-home rather than eat him. Thank you all for affirming what I feared.
