Pretty sure it's a girl

I sure am hoping this is a girl. Very spunky little white Cochin. Very cuddly, always sparring with her sisters, and in one case was not afraid to stand her ground with our lead hen. She lost the staring battle on the second encounter though. Then she also squatted/bowed for another older hen. But then two mornings in a row, she did a but of loud talking. I know hens can do that, my lead hen does quite a bit. But if like to make sure, please tell me she's a hen. She is 7/8 weeks old.

I have never had Cochins but with the comb and wattles it could be a male at that age. You will know if you either hear a crow or get an egg.

I do not but I would guess male because of the comb color.

That's a cockerel.
My pullet of the same age has a comb drastically smaller. So do all the rest of the pullets that age.

gosh I am so sad and mad at the same time. I live in town, so I cannot keep him.
