Price of feedin your area

I just paid for Grower Kent 13.59 50lb
i bought Pen Pal Grower last month it was 14.00 50lb
scratch 12.00 50lb

broiler feed was 15.00 50lb Kent
the meat birds go through 50 lb a week.

my egg girls go through 50 lb every 4 weeks, though i feed them scraps also, which helps with cost. but i only have 10 girls they are 9 weeks old and 8 eggs that are 1 weeks old

so by time they are full grown i will go through 50 lb every 2 weeks give or take

I also have Chinchillas that i breed, 50lb of Pen Pal Rabbit feed 15.79, which last 1 week. every time i go to get more the price goes up and down.
when i first started breeding it was 9.50 50lb that was 6 years ago

and the price of bedding, all most 6.00 a bag.

Nutrena layer pellets 11.99 50 lb bag

Layena pellets 14.89 50 lb bag

I go through a bag a day of layer, a bag a week for grower, two bags a week for gamebird maintenance and a bag a week for start n grow.

The girls are molting, not very many hatching eggs available.

I'm broke....................

Walmart's eggs may be cheap but they are no where near as good as eggs from free range chickens. In the grocery store free range eggs are 3.69/doz

You all have it good.

I just bought a 50# bag of 16.5% layer pellets from the feed store and it cost $16.21.

Grower crumbles run about $17.25 for 50#.

Walmart sells 50# bag of 15% layer crumbles for about $14.00.

I'm gonna have to call around to other stores to see if I can find it cheaper.

For Layena pellets or crumbles it's $13.64 for 50lb bag.

The closest mill to me sells mash for $20.00 per 100lb bag but my girls wasted most of it so I didn't save any money on that deal

Unfortunately they don't make their own pellets or crumbles.

I was bying the Purina Sunfresh medicated starter for $13.50 for $50lbs.
