Price of feedin your area

just bought feed 30 mins ago for 5 bags of 50lbs ea. it came to $86.00.

We just paid $13 for #50 lb crumble...can't wait to see what the prices will be next year.....layer pellets are around $10-11 per bag........getting ouchier.

Hmm... I'm getting screwed on feed.

I pay...
$16.00 a bag for my layer protien
$14.90 a bag for chick starter
$16.80 a bag for turkey grower
$14.50 a bag for scratch
$13.80 a bag for cow grain
$15.00 a bag for horse sweet feed.

All bags are 50 lbs.

I need to freaking move!!!

i paid 19.90 for game bird crumbles the other day and 14.95 for layer pellets it really would be cheeper to buy eggs at the grocery store now but i love my chickens and ducks

and our feed has all gone up:
all of the chicken feed here only comes in 40lbs. bags...
Layer Feed (crumbles) $11.49
Chick Starter/Grower (crumbles) $11.49
Meat Bird (crumbles) $10.49
and lets not forget the rabbit feed in 50 lbs. bags
cheapest bag is $10.49
its sucks!
soo expensive!

$16.95 for 50# of layer pellets. We only have two feed stores (in a town of over a million people) so not much choice.....

I bought 50lbs of cracked corn I feed it to my older chickens I paid $9 for that and for a 25lb of medicated chick starter and grower I paid $8.
