Sorry all you good postal workers, but I've been burned out on the USPS for a long time. Try standing in line while you watch one after another go on break or lunch, or one lady with fingernails so long she can't work the machines except at an ant's pace. I pay my bills on-line and have for a long time. I get my bills on-line and now that I have free bill-pay from my bank, even the small bills like local garbage pick-up is paid on-line. I pay my mother's bills through her bank's bill pay. I stay in contact with my family in other states through email. Don't even send Christmas cards anymore.
So, while the rate hike makes me so mad I could boil - it really won't affect me that much. Just another bother that I can put to the back of my mind and not worry about.
But I will be buying a boatload of the everlasting stamps (who wants to bet there will be a shortage, cause you know they're not going to print up enough).
