Pricing Hens

Id still do 15 each-I wouldnt sell mine for less. All though I rarely ever sell pullets or hens I keep them all mostly-

Yeah, I would rather keep them...because I truly love all the girls. But I feel this would be a good will gesture for chicken people world wide...

But really We've kind of teased this family... and their kids will definitely benefit. I know this is a great home and they will be good owners. I have only given away my girls to a young girl who lost her flock to raccoons and my dgs... This is one of those good dilemmas... so I appreciate all the input and will love on my girls until their new coop is done and their new family is ready. AND THEN PLAN FOR AN INCREASE AT NANAWENDYS FLOCK NEXT SPRING

I would pay $15-$20 for young laying hens--w/o batting an eye! If you think about the cost of you chicks, feed, care for the last 12 months..that's not much at all!!

I think if i were you I would charge enough to make sure everyone knows they have value but after that it probably doesnt matter much. This is unfortunately the situation in which far to often I give chickens to folks. It is not my suggestion it is just what I find myself doing if I think people will take care of them and enjoy them.

10 dollars might be a water mark to accomplish a bit of a gift and still have everyone understand that chickens are not free. It is great that you would like to help a bit.
