" Pried From Her Cold Dead Hands"

I don't think Grandma would haunt her....as long she is respectful who made the recipes, made them with love, treat them with care, then I think Grandma would have said, OK, you re BETTER than my son, who treated my precious things like dirt!

Grandma would haunt the person who put the recipes up on auction. I dont think she would be vintivite to press bad things to good people!

Yeah greedy realtives are fun.
My uncle was that way when Grandfather died. Everything that he had promised to us grandkids the uncle took. Pretty sure he just sold it.

DH's grandma died and one of the aunts came into her house and started to load things up that she wanted. My MIL caught her and threw her out and locked up the house. She did get away with a few things, but not much. The family was at the funeral home going over the arrangements when she did that.
I got all of her recipes because nobody else wanted them, until the year I made them all Christmas candy, then they tried to bully me into giving them the box. No way.

I hate the thought of my Grandmother passing. DH describes my family as a flock of vultures, except for me.
Some are already fighting over her things and she's not even dead yet.

What makes me even madder was my oldest sister gave her a gift then told her she wanted it back when she dies.

Wasn't me, but, more importantly, will you share the best recipes with us?

It sold for 31.00 dollars plus 12.70 in shipping fees. I bet grandma is rolling in her grave.
