Pringles are the Devil!

What about those paralytic (or paralyzing) ticks or whatever? Those are terrifying! 😬 But I guess you guys don't have Lyme disease so there's that.

Ticks are the 👹.
Paralysis ticks are always in my area and often talked about on dog walks, but I've yet to see one on my dogs or cats. When I was tending to my horses on a hill top property, I thought they were dotted in mud only to find ticks all over them. We simply scraped them off and stomped on them. Eek. That's been my only experience and the horses weren't bothered. The property owners said they were bush ticks.

Where can paralysis ticks be found?

Paralysis ticks are found along coastal parts of central and southern Queensland as well as coastal New South Wales. Towards the north, paralysis ticks can be found all year-round, while further south tick season generally begins in winter (August) and finishes in late spring (November). However, this is not a set period. For example, tick season may start earlier if the winter is milder than usual.

A funnel web spider just sounds terrifying! So no it was not too big, actually 😁 I am just a baby. It was probably the size of my thumb nail. And tbh I’m not sure what it is, my mom always said they were cat face spiders growing up and told us they were good and needed to stay because they ate bad spiders, but I do not know if any of that is true!
We were always told daddy-long-legs were good spiders, so I can hold those and won't kill them, but none other. The ones with big fat juicy guts gross me out.

Oh I like daddy-long-legs, those make me happy! I’ve heard they’re very poisonous but they have fangs too small to bite us, is that true?
Ever try Dill Pickle? Those are awesome! I can only buy those about twice a year.
I agree those are sooo good! Only twice a year?
