This is Ginkgo, my blue laced red wyandotte. she has had a very hard life. She used to be the sweetest chick, we got her at the same time as a speckled sussex and a mille fleur d'uccle, they all became best friends. The SS then developed health issues and passed away causing much stress to poor Ginkgo, but she still had the d'uccle right? wrong. The d'uccle turned out to be a roo which was not allowed where we live so he had to be rehomed, leaving poor Ginkgo alone by the time she was 5 months old. The older girls didn't like her so we bought her a friend but it took her a very long time to actually befriend the little polish. She is just now getting used to things again. Here she is.

Here's another one of my girls! This is Piper, and she truly represents "Beauty and No brains." She is the only one in my flock that doesn't like to be picked up. She is also quite chatty and she is always the one you hear, Pe_KAAAW, BOK BOOOK after she lays an egg! She has the most Beautiful Iridescent black tail feathers and is truly a goof. She is 8 months old, and is an Easter Egger. Enjoy!
