Hey I just stopped my eggs today turning them.I filled all of the troughs w/water.So do I have to put more water in later. It shows humidity in the bator,b ut I don`t have a humity thing.Help!!!!!!! This is 18th day.Any info would help!!!!!! PLEASE

You don't want too much water in there, either. When I hatched without a hygrometer, the instructions I had said to pull a vent plug if the windows on the incubator fogged up (I had a little styrofoam Hov-a-bator). I had fairly good success with that. Now I have a hygrometer - I've read on here that you can get them at Walmart or a hardware store if you would feel more comfortable getting one. My chicken book says the humidity should be around 65%. Good luck!

Well I just stopped them this morning and I filled the troughs with water. But it did have a lot of humidty then on the windows. But now it is just a little.Did you have to put more in before hatch time. Thanks so much,Sandra
