So, I got a new Serama roo a month or so ago.

One thing I noticed was his very long toenail beginning to curve a the tips.

The last thing I needed was a disabled roo, especially since he's my little hen's only partner and also a very nice-looking boy.

Obviously they needed trimming. However, there was a little problem. The nails, one in particular, have a quick going right to the tip.

I've clipped plenty before, but haven't seen this dilemma.

Advice?

I'd just cut it, & be prepared to stop the bleeding.
