The turner on my incubator is broken and I didn't realise for the first 36 hours of incubation. Since then I have turned the 3 times a day by hand and up to day 5. I have read about not turning eggs causing chicks to form wrong. Do you think I may have this problem with any that may make it out??? I really don't want to hatch chicks that die or I have to kill due to health problems....
Also do you think I should turn them more then 3 times a day were possible???
Thanks for any help.

Turning is one of those things that people worry too much about IMO. I've done mixed hatches in one incubator, where I have multiple due dates. When I have eggs that are close to hatch, I turn off the turner for a few days so that the chicks can position themselves to zip and hatch. Once those chicks have hatched, I turn the turner back on for the remaining eggs. I've never had a chick hatch with deformities as a result of not being turned for a couple of days!
