problem with my pekin!

My 3 week old pekin seems to have a problem with her eye. She has it closed most of the time and I can see the white corner of it when it's open. The other eye is all black and seems fine. Any input is welcome.

wash it with a very gentle saline solution ( like a contact lense solution) and put eye cream/ drops in it. she may just have something in there

I put her in a tub of water and it seems like she flushed it out on her own. If it gets bad again I'll do as suggested.
