there were two eggs that pipped earlier than the rest yesterday, got pretty far, then stopped doing anything. one of them had a large part of the membrane exposed, and it started looking really dry, so I decided to help it after waiting a while and not seeing any movement.
it was dead before I started.

I decided to help the other too, cuz I didn't want it to die like the other, and there was no blood or anything, but it has a lump on its bottom that looks a little bloody, and it seems weaker than the others.

is there hope? what's wrong with it?

I cant really give you any advice as what to do but I have had a few that look similar to that. That is where the yolk is absorbed and it looks like that if they are born a little to soon I think. I would just keep it warm and let it rest. It doesn't need to eat or drink at this time to survive.
