Hello,
I recently got a little giant incubator and I’ve had some major problems. The temperature doesn’t remain consistent, first it dropped to 25C when the thermometer on the incubator read 37.7C. It dropped for a couple hours however, there was still movement in some of the eggs so, I unplugged and reset it at 37.5C. Couple days later the temperature was at 42C.. and the thermometer on the incubator still read 37.5C. Unfortunately my dozen Cemani and few dozen quail eggs didn’t survive. Very disappointed.
Is there anything I could have done wrong or was this an issue with the incubator?? Any advice on maintaining temperatures would be appreciated too.

I would get a 2nd thermometer to measure inside temp. Like a 2nd doctor's opinion. The thermometer ur using now may be faulty. Also make sure none of the wires are touching the eggs. Can throw off temp of incubators reading digital. I keep incubators In a room that maintains a certain temp..keep them up off the floor and no drafts...unless it's a ceiling fan on low
