I am reading about plenty of younger roos who haven't laid down the law (please, no pun intended, do not kick me off the forum) with the harem yet, and they can sometimes take their share of abuse before . . . ahem . . . they develop the manly assertiveness that most ladies secretly adore.

If nothing else works, you might try letting him watch Errol Flynn movies.

I am sorry, but this is NOT funny. Spouse abuse is spouse abuse and he really needs to seek help. I know it is hard for the man....thinking he willbe viewed as weak...but if he doesn't do something he will never break the cycle of abuse. He should look in his local yellow pages for a support group.
