Problems with neighbors

The Guy has made harrassing you folks his new pass time. Don,t play his game the cameras for your own protection are a good idea. Mind your own business and give alot of attention to keeping your livestock on your side of the fence. Don't fuss with him to do so would add fuel to his fire. It's a shame he hasn't got anything better to do.

We have tried rectifying each of his complaints, it always ends up being something new afterwards every time. I truly don't even know if the duck actually went through the fence, there are no signs of it at all, no footprints since it was wet out when this alledgedly happened, and I couldn't see any damage to the grass he claimed was eaten, it was all the same tall length. It might be just like his complaint to the sheriff that my guineas were pooping in his pool. When confronted about it, he said they weren't in his pool but he was worried that they might so he called. We have avoided any kind of actions that could stir up any more issues, including even talking to him. Anyone know a place to get weatherproof cameras for a reasonable price. These areas will be 200-500 feet from any power source.

walmart sells camo game camera's that run off batteries... and a 4gb SD card will run you another 15$ ish

Sounds to me like your neighbor is one of those people, that regardless of what you do is going to find fault in something...we had a neighbor like that when I was growing up...and all you can do is the best you can! Good luck!

I suggest that you put up wire across where he'd had it before, ensuring it is on your side of the fence and photograph it with a camera that prints a date on the picture. Do what you can to keep your livestock on your land, and inform the Sheriff of what you have done (also letting them know he does feed you birds when he feels like it)....

If you want to be evil how about this. If you have an outbuilding with electricity, put a cd player with a cd of a cow wanting milking. Play that early in the morning, wait til he complains and in all innocent show anyone who comes looking for a cow an empty building making him look stupid.
