Come spring I will be processing half my birds due to feather mites since nothing is working. Ive tried sprays invrmecting dust nothing is working therefor im wasting money. Apparently its not treatable. Will they be safe to eat still? Im not eating it but my dogs will. Im starting to think im
done with poultry as its costing more and these feathermites keep spreading where its not even worth it anymore.

OK with mites you must retreat every 7 days until bugs are gone. You must spray the coop and toss all bedding, even in the nest boxes.

If you don't do these things the mites come back. Hey, it happened to me too.

Also - don't try to treat an infestation with DE or something wimpy. Use the good stuff.
