Procrastination, anyone?

I procrastinate more than hubs, but for both of us its situational. He balks at doing certain things and I have other ones. It seems we balance each other out.

We kind of fall into that same camp Becca...DH doesn't put a project down until he's finished and I can't rest at night until dishes are all done.

Other than that, I think we take turns out-waiting the other on things :p

So in other words: you bring out the best in each other!

I guess I'm with @Twoleggedmotherhen, I can't stand dirty dishes in the sink. The only thing I really put off is coop cleaning :sick :p
Dishes done right after eating, wased, dried and put away. Floors swept and washed nightly. Brothers called me the clean freak.
Coop and run are done every day here, done by 9:00 am. I get teased about it. Coop has tile flooring with shavings on top, easy clean up. I turn the dirt in the run every other day. With the snow we had (over a foot, drifts were 2+feet, which we are not use to), I had to shovel the snow that drifted in. Chickens wouldn't come out of the coop until I cleared it...lol

My sister is the white glove. I am not. I hate looking at too many dishes in the sink, so I throw towels over them. No problem. Have to say the sink is very shallow. If I put a pan in the sink - it's filled up. So I add hot water & Dawn dish soap, and stuff as many utensils in there as possible. Works for me. Sooner or later I come back to make sure they are okay, or scrub what needs it - then rinse and put away.

My girls are the same way, hate to step a single toe in the snow. With all the snow we've had this winter, their run has been shoveled more than anything else.

Same here!! I can't stand to see a dirty cup sitting on the sink!
You change the shavings in the coop every day? I clean mine about every two weeks.

Don't change shavings every day, just scoop out (with cat litter scoop) every day, change it out every other week. When I change it out I take the Ryobi leaf blower to it and blow out the dust, dirt and small shaving pieces. Then wash and dry the tile flooring roosts and dual nesting box.I clean with white vinegae water. Then put fresh shavings in.
They are getting a new waterer. Ordered horizontal nipples (suppose to be here Monday) and a multi used utility de-icer (suppose to be here the 23rd). Have a red 5 gallon bucket and lid already. The heated waterer they have now is a pain. Have to clean it daily and flipping it over is a pain.
DH says he wants to come back as one of my pets :gigI said just don't come back as a rooster, that wouldn't end well for you :lau. But that wouldn't happen since I like the sex links.
