Me, too. I refuse to buy any puppy chews from China. If they can mess up people food, what will they do with dog food??

Finally found a store that sells Bully Sticks from Argentina. I can live with that.

I was looking at the new chews they got in my feed store where I get my TOTW for them. It said Made in China. The lady who is the manager came over to chat, and I mentioned that it was too bad the new chews were from China, that I would have liked to try them. She just shook her head and said, several people had mentioned that to her. She said when the samples were gone, she wasnt getting any more. She said EVERYONE is reading the packages now and shunning anything made in China. She's very careful now what suppliers she gets her dog food and chews from.

I asked my eye doc last week about sunglasses. She said to make sure it's rated 100% uva and uvb rated. I countered with just how I should trust that, when every pair of sunglasses I've checked is Made in China. We agreed that this could be the next scandal. how do you know if your sunglasses really are doing the job?

We're not still using morse code. There is such things as planes and the Internet.
There's no need to be rude.

Back on subject....I too am looking at all labeling and refuse to buy stuff from China. If enough people do that it wont be long until the big guys get the message.

THere were 10-11 infant deaths in Ft Bragg NC.In some cases several in one house, with different families not related. They think it might be due to imported chinese sheetrock that was used building new family housing .THe chinese drywall was used due to shortage caused by hurricane Katrina. I understand that babies sometimes die due to SIDS but not 11 within a short time and in the same house a few month apart.

I would never use honey that wasn't local anyway. Did you know that using locally-produced honey helps you build up antibodies to local allergens? I never, ever buy honey in "grocery stores", always buy from local sources at the farmer's market. I'm pretty lucky that I live in a region that does produce a lot of honey, though.

Dogs can choke on those, my sister's boxer was chewing one and you know how they get slimy, will it slid down his throat and got lodged and he couldn't even cough, she had to put her hand down his throat to pull out. You should go to your local butcher and get real smoked bones, dogs love them, they clean their teeth, last a long time, and you can treat them with peanut butter in them to keep them busy for a long time. My dogs a heavy chewers and they tear up a toy in seconds flat. They only get these bones and at Christmas they get 15 mins. of toy bliss.

I keep bees, I definitely know local honey and supporting your local beeks is the way to go! Both for a great product and supporting the local economy

My guys are little guys, they take their times with those chewys. Sometimes I get them big beef ribs to chew on. Ive always been told that bones that animals stand on are too tough for dogs, like big knuckle bones. They can break their teeth.
