OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is absolutely the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! right up there with the chicken lingerie.... you need to start selling them to all of us nutheads that would put them on alllll of our flock. including our roos.
they are so cute. I love your girls. I bet they are just so spoiled. as they should be.
Fantastic idea. I have always thought that there should be Comb Caps for the boys. Their tall combs just get so cold in winter - a nice knit covering might really help out. Maybe it could double as a Wattle Warmer too.
a WATTLE WARMER??????? oh yea, yup. gotta do it. .. yup. how about a nylon sock cut up so that the little points stick out?????
or one of those stretchy gloves?
thanks a lot.now i am going to go home and play dress up with my roo...... poor Bird.
I've never been a showgirl fan but I think you might have changed my mind with those pictures. They are too absurdly cute! I think the suggestion of comb and wattle warmers is hilarious too. Just to take some pictures in and brighten everyone's day!
I'm not one for the showgirls (they would get really bad frostbite here), but I LOVE the Comb Cap and Wattle Warmer idea!
I am going to have to start experimenting with that before it gets cold again! I had 3 different roosters get frostbite and lose the tips of their combs this year! Ick!
How awesome is that. I created a failed experiment for a hat crocheted in mohair - too small - so fulled it in the dryer and voila, a baby chick warmer/nest.
