So glad you have Plan B for when the coop is buried... I feel like a wuss now for grumbling that I am overwhelmed by the buckets of rain and ankle-deep mud...

It's a lot of snow and more on the way ! This is way
More than normal... This is our first year with chickens and we were not sure how winter would be. The stall has been perfect and they've been happy even last week when it was -6 in the morning and a high of 2 in the afternoon.
 
Wow I have a bunch of those wood things (jump standards?) at our house, never knew what they were although I assumed they were used for horses as the people before us had horses. I was trying to use them to hold up a run cover, but now I think a roost sounds like a good idea. Ours look the same but are bigger - about 6 feet tall. Wasn't sure how I could use those for chickens yet so thanks for one idea.
