I'm jealous... your coop looks great and it's DONE! - yesterday as I was reading here at the forum about how fast someones chicks were growing and realized that I didn't have anywhere near as much time to build my coop as I thought... so today we cleared out the area, cut several trees (that needed to go regardless) that HAD to go before building - and then collapsed in front of my puter with aching muscles. Mine will have to be a lot bigger since I will be housing about 40-45 girls, and temporarly housing 15-25 boys temporarly a couple times a year. Fortunately the first 40 are only about a week old and the rest arrive next week, but I guess I've gotta get building. Lickily it doesn't get very cold or hot here so I can skip the insulation and just worry about predator control and chicken comfort.
