Thank you! I really appreciate your comments. I’m in California, USA: hot-hot summers, mild winters. For ventilation, I also have all soffits open (predator-proofed with hardware cloth), the peak of the run-side wall is vented, and I have a fan that kicks on over a certain temp. or humidity level. Also, I keep the big doors open in the summer… it’s just too hot, otherwise! I’ll check out your article, too. More pics:Welcome to BYC. Where, in general, are you? Climate matters.
That coop looks well-made and well-thought out. An attractive addition to your yard.
One detail though,
Those little round vents at the roof peak aren't going more much air, only a few square inches. When venting a coop you need to think in terms of square feet.
