I should have said Fawn Silver or Fawn Silver Crow-Wing.

I had started another project with the Blue birchen crossing for more of a silver.I meant to temp call it Blue Silver and put that with the projects not the regular varieties.I know the Silver blue is considered the blue birchen.The Blue Birchen Cockerel is my base stock for my experiment..I have a first year cockerel with lighter hackles and no lacing in the breast.The first year pullet has more of a dark lavender look than a 'blue' however when viewed with a lavender you can tell the actual difference.Some darkening in the hackle areas instead of lightening though.In the Cockerels I am looking for a lighter based bird with completely light hackles and saddles with some lightening in the wings.I will try to get pics if I get a chance.

Thanks for all the input!! These birds are still young and I just can't wait to see how well they mature.

The oldest little hen started laying over the Christmas Holidays so we will see in the near future what the offspring will look like.
