Projectile Vomiting Hen

When I went in to check on the hens last night, an Amerucana started to vomit, projectile style, clear liquid. Just pouring out like she's a fountain, and for a good five seconds too. She's about a year old, has been laying well until recently and is moulting.

Isolate her. Make sure she has no grains or grass.

Do a search for crop bound, impacted crop or sour crop and see if anything you read matches your situation.

She's been fine today and tonight.

Her crop is full and gritty - I'll check again tomorrow morning. What was troubling was her abdomen has gotten squishy and possibly distended.

She's calm and acting normally though.
