Prolapse and dead tissue

Pics
I don't have a rooster, but my neighbor's roo came to visit two weeks ago. I locked my girls up fast until he left. Very interesting as Garnet got her prolapse shortly after that. I think the stinky butt came first and the other girls pecked at for a short time before I brought her into the infermory. You know, she has always had a pasty type butt. I will be using probiotics more and I like the idea of the plain yougurt.

Maybe you should sneak over to the neighbors' house. See if their girls have gleet.
If so, they need to get that boy under control, before he spreads his std throughout the neighborhood.

Garnet is healed and back with the flock. If I can do it anyone can. If anyone experiences this and comes across this feed, please reach out. I would be glad to help.

Great job! And I'm glad your keeping your thread updated. That will give hope to others who search this subject.
While you are waiting for her to begin laying again, I'd research integrating, so that you can get her back into the flock without too much drama.
I had no choice but to put her out with the rest. She was going insane, kept dumping her water. I was planning an integration but she wanted out so bad.
