I am after a bit of advice please. i bought 4 3-4 week old orpington chicks at the beginning of the week. yesterday i noticed that the back end of one didnt look quite right, but assumed it was just poo stuck to it. having been out today, came back to see it has had a complete prolapse and the bit hanging out was about 2 1/2 inches and black with a red tip. my husband put her "out of her misery" only to come inside and see that another one has an "inflated" back end and there is blood on it. why is this happening? what should we do?
