Prolapse, please help. I'm not sure my hen will make it.

Just want to thank everyone in this thread. I think I'll see if I can try to euthanize her via decapitation tomorrow. Considering my options, all I unfortunately have left to do is care for her until she dies, but I think it's unfair for her to have to suffer slowly. 15-20 seconds of pain is better than her degrading alone over some time. I've looked up a video on how to do it correctly, as to avoid making an error that could hurt her. I'll be getting a chopping block ready tomorrow, and I'll see what I can do.

Sorry to hear 😢. Hope you ended her suffering, a chopping block ends her instantly as you separated the whole nerve system, there is no pain.
This is heartbreaking but you really learn alot everytime something happens with chickens.
From the pictures she looked too far gone, best to treat stuff as early as possible, possibly try to find a vet in the future that could work on your birds?...

My chicken just came back home today from a vet visit, that was attacked/ripped open by a gaws hawk. I thought she would be dead first thing in the morning, but $233 Canadian Dollars fixed her back up and she's doing well.
Sometimes money spent like this, to see a happy/healthy chicken again is well worth it!

Don't give me wrong, you tried your all and best, and sometimes that's all we can do!
