I have a 3 year old isa brown. We saw blood all on her buttt area and thought it was from a predator but when I washed her up I saw she has two large swollen masses. She’s able to poop. It’s very watery white with some normal looking bird feces in it. She’s the one who ripped the top mass open and caused herself to bleed.
I’ve washed her, put some antibiotic cream on her, felt for any obstruction (none that I can tell), trimmed her feathers, and put a cone made from card stock around her neck for now.
The picture will look bloody because she pecked it before I got the cone on her but she wasn’t so much as dirty as bloody.
I just inspected everyone and two other chickens in the flock have gleet.
She won’t eat or drink.
I’m wondering what else I can do for her.
