Prolapsed ovary fell out of hen!

Thanks for helping anyone out there!
Early this morning I went to let my hens out, and I noticed a long piece of internal organ dangling out of one of my RSLs vent.
I brought her inside to bathe the area and try to put it back in, but in her frantic flapping, she dislodged the entire piece. It looks like an ovary to me.
I placed honey around the cleaned vent. What should I do?
The ovary is probably a loss, right? There's not much chance of putting it back now.
I've got it on a paper towel.

do you have a vet i would get her checked out to make sure shes not bleeding internally

It could be a membrane from a broken egg, or possibly a lash egg or some sort of product of internal laying. I doubt that that material is her ovary.

I've been reading up on similar issues with hens. I wasn't sure what a lash was, thank you for giving me that word. It led to some research on similar stuff coming out of hens. There is some mixed thoughts on survival of hens with these, there is another thread which links to the chicken chick website that explains it as a symptom of infection in the reproductive tract of a hen. It's bad, but may not immediately be fatal.
Egg shaped balls of puss can come out, as well as tissues like these. This may have been the lining of her reproductive system.

I'm going to try the antibiotics and darken the room to prevent laying eggs for a while. I will update on the outcome.

My hen did lose an ovary. I found it in one of her favorite resting places. It was kidney bean shaped, and developing eggs were actually visible on one end. I wasn't sure what it was until someone posted a video about egg development. The hen is fine, she acts like a normal hen, even taking her turn in the nest box, but she'll never lay again. Hens only have one ovary. I am kicking myself for not saving it or at least taking pictures.
