I found 2 of my salmon faverolles sisters a couple of weeks ago having prolapses at the same time. They seemed easy to push back in, but would come back out when they were being held to be examined. When I would leave them alone, and they weren't staining, they would stay in on their own. I was in the process of thinning out my flock, so I decided if they didn't stay in, I would cull them, but so far they seem to be doing fine at their new owner's. Most of what I have read about more serious prolapse is to hold the tissue in for 5 minutes or so. If you have a rubber glove on, you could watch a TV program while holding it in, and she might enjoy the show, too.
