Missjayne- You should hit him with your(red plastic)shovel for saying 'his best girl".
He should have said his only girl...shhhhheshh.

If my wife had a pair of ugly muckers, I would most defiantely buy her a new pair....

Now that's where I'm going wrong--- need to wear two different socks. Note to children-- leave my socks alone. Kthxbai.

Now to find some nifty muck boots and keep them from the girl child.

Question: How do you pronounce this one: Wyandottes?

Wyandotts? Or a secret club name I'm not allowed in yet?

Yay, I'm a member of the secret chicken club of wine dots or why an dots. Might have to go take back She-roo from the neighbor. Too bad that hen was terrified of the dutch bantams.

Thanks again and yes, need some socks now. Once the temp gets below 50.

Ok, ok...Enough is enough.

First off...if you are wearing black Chuck Taylors it's almost a given that you have to have camo pants on. More so, the CT's must have red laces and be unlaced high tops.

As far as two different socks go, the bonus of that is you always have another pair just like them on back up in your drawer...very practical, not to mention unique and sort of rougish...

As far as weimaraners go I'm not sure they are even a real hunting dog.

These are real hunting dawgs....

Thank you!

Yes, they are German Shorthaired Pointers. The mother and two of her ten pups. The best dogs anyone could ask for. Loyal, motivated hunting fools and very family oriented. I would never own another breed.

How are your ravioli favarolis doing? Let's see some pics!!

Here's some pics of mine...

Must say that I am learning so much on pronunciation! Now I want to ask if you think "Serama" is plural. It has been debated on whether you should say my serama, or my seramas.....
I could use some back up!

Also must admit that now I am thinking about muck boots, and found ones that I like!

Sadly, I think I have a fetish for ruining tennis shoes. They don't last a week before I am round-penning horses in the mud, climbing trees in them, or using them to scrape dirty shavings or horse poo into the muck shovel.
Tim hates it! Mostly because we wear the same size shoe and innocently I slip his on, when playing outside, if they are by the door.
Im so much worse than my kiddos with not wearing my 'play shoes' as I sincerely believe that I wont get dirty 'this time'! <sigh>

Also Miss Jayne, I think of you fondly when I wear my Chucks. Im wearing them and now sad that I only own boring white ankle socks....
They would rock so much more if one sock was hot pink and the other was lime green......

"LEGHORNS....good gravy people. LEG URNS. yes. seriously. LEG URNS. mel blanc messed it all up with FOGHORN LEGHORN. dang it. "

1.) If I remember correctly, it is pronounced Leg-urn in the U.S. but Leg-horn in the U.K. Maybe someone from 'cross the pond can verify or correct me on that.

2.) My aunt referred to having "anacondas" and their green eggs. I didn't have the heart to correct her.

3.) As for cattle, Brahmas are pronounced "bray-mer" (at least by every cattleman I've ever heard say it.)

4.) What would a cross between a Faverolle and a d'Uccle be called?
I'm getting a headache just thinkin about them thar chikkuns...

Great thread!
