What are the correct humidity levels during the egg incubation period ? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Incubation
99 3/4 - 99 7/8* F at 50-55% humidity

Lockdown
99 1/4 - 99 1/2* F at 60-70% humidity

If you don't have a quality thermostat I would suggest not changing the temperature at all between incubation and lockdown.

These numbers are for a forced air incubator. If your incubator doesn't have a fan add .5* F to each temp.

There are a lot of opinions on this. Early on I usually kept the rates at 45-50 for incubation and 70 + for hatching. I read a lot of research showing that lower humidity rates were better for incubation so I follow the 25-30 for incubation and anything above 50 for hatch.

You can drown the chick in the egg if you run humidity too far past 70% so be careful. The numbers I suggested hatch me in excess of 1000 chicks a year at an 80-95% rate.
