My Dad has prostate cancer they could not remove it, he has been living with it for appx 10 years, he gets progesterone shots, he has had no radiation or chemo. His situation is different then your husbands but my dad has told me everything so if you have a question I might be able to answer it, you can PM me

sorry to hear about your dad. :hugs

my questions are about energy.it just seems lately he has none or he tires easily. he has also lost some weight but it is muscle that he has lost, not fat.just curious about any supplements.
we have a doc appt the 10th.he gets bloodwork every 6 months and is cancer free. i will ask them then although his doc is a butthead.i am searching now for another doc for him to see.
my DH says he is fine of course but i can see it. :/

thank you Ewe,
i am going to call today and see if we can get a copy of his latest bloodwork.the receptionist and nurse are always rude not to mention the doc.the last time i saw this doc,i had a list of questions and when i brought the list out ,the doc rolled his eyes.i said excuse me,oh,nothing ,its just people are always showing me there list.
i can't wait for this next appt because i will be ready.

There's no need to get copies. Just pick another doctor and have him get the paper work from the old doctor. Why do you want to deal with the rude people ?

dennis is absolutely right. get another doctor and forget any copies. the doctor can get the records. you need new tests anyway. when i work the cancer float to the cancer floor and screen people, there are some questions i am required to ask and you answered them here. lethargy and weight loss are not good signs but may just be nothing. look for my pm.

thanks guys,will do.

he goes to his primary care doc every 6 months and all those test are normal and his urologist every 6 months and those test are all normal .i just wanted to know what ARE the test that they run.his oncologist says he no longer has prostate cancer and he has been cleared with him for a year.

jeepgurl-got your Pm and thanks for the tip.will definately keep that in mind.
