Prosthetic foot

Thank you. I will be picking up the chick this afternoon and consulting with a local vet. I’ll add more after I see what the possibilities might be. The chick is only 10 days old. I have heard that Tufts Vet school may offer prosthetics. I am in NH. I have reached out to a friend who may be able to provide a contact at Tufts. More to follow on this situation. I have decided to call her Tootsie.

My rooster survived the big Texas winter storm, but he lost his foot to frostbite. I ordered a prosthetic 3-d-printer foot for him, but he died of a freak accident a week ago, the day the foot was shipped. I have been heartbroken. I have this new, never-worn prosthetic foot that will fit a rooster with a 3/4 inch thick leg, no spur. The stump was 1 1/2 inches long. The foot height is adjustable. If you have a chicken with this need, I will give you the foot.
