My rooster survived the big Texas winter storm, but he lost his foot to frostbite. I ordered a prosthetic 3-d-printer foot for him, but he died of a freak accident a week ago, the day the foot was shipped. I have been heartbroken. I have this new, never-worn prosthetic foot that will fit a rooster with a 3/4 inch thick leg, no spur. The stump was 1 1/2 inches long. The foot height is adjustable. If you have a chicken with this need, I will give you the foot.

So sorry to hear about your rooster. I was wondering if you still had this available or could recommend who you purchased it from. I have a chicken I purchased and she lost her foot. and would really like to get her something. thanks.

@BrynneB , i am very sorry about your rooster. I have a hen that lost her feet in the february winter texas storm too. Thank you for tagging me, @Auntiejessi3 , i really appreciate it. ♥️ Ironically i was researching "3d printed prosthetic chicken foot" a few days ago, because Matilda still isnt moving around on her stumps as much as i would like to see. I think shes gonna need 2 artificial feet for the best chance of regaining mobility.

I see that @BrynneB hasn't been back on byc since july 10. Same as @des7598 , even if the prosthetic u offered wont fit, i am very interested to know where you purchased the prosthesis and what was the cost? Thanks again for the tag @Auntiejessi3 .

Where does one “order” a prosthetic for chickens? I am in the process of adopting a handicapped chick. Very interested in alternatives for her.
