Protruding skull in silkie

Well I'm sad to say I came home to a very struggling baby. Not quite sure what happened but little splits struggled for a few hours and then it just died. I'm just glad the little one isn't suffering any longer.. My little blind one (wonder) is just thriving!! The other one (spins) is walking on its own eating and peeping super loud. ahhhh but so happy the others are thriving.. Have to say I didn't expect much from little blind one but still eating and drinking all alone. Of course I tested it and if the water isn't in the same spot there is panic!! So the thing I figured out is that it is smart enough to remember where to go to get the necessities!! I'll monitor it but I think the little one will need a special little area permanently!!

So it's been a while and I thought I would give an update on my little blind one.
Not sure if it's male or female but it's starting to feather out so things are going good to say the least!

It eats and drinks on its own still and has grown to the same size as it's incubated siblings.. doing super super good! Have to say I have learned so much from my little blind chicken. Of course it is in its own separate area. I have continued to put it with a shallow water dish and food goes on the floor since it can't get into the feeders or waterers. Didn't expect of all the chickens the blind one to be doing this good but it's little gimpy Bantam behind is doing great. I plan on making a video and sharing the story fully when the little one gets to adult age I would definitely like to teach others how to take care of a blind chicken.
