I have a two year old Isa Brown hen with a protruding vent. I did see her pull it back in at one time but it is now protruding again. She is a very consistent egg layer but she has not laid for about 1 month. She has a waddle like walk and it seems like her bottom between her legs is bloated. I've seen her eating and drinking but today she seems a little out of sorts. Also, the feathers in that same area are broken and she has some bare spots. Can anyone tell me what might be going on? Is there any thing I can do to help her out ? I will not be able to see a vet until tomorrow. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
