Heres a pic of the old gal, she is the only chicken I have at the moment, she is a cross from a Wyandott roo and Barred Rock hen. She hasnt layed an egg for over a year, and I don't know why she started back now, but she has layed 5 in the last couple of weeks.
There was a rooster (her father) hanging with her in the yard but he got killed by a fox a few weeks ago.
My goats saved her from the fox... I was proud of them.
Anyhow, I was excited and had to share.
