Pseudo Brooder Heater 'Plate'

I did find a heating pad at Walmart for $13.95, it did not have an automatic shutoff feature. I purchased it, left it on all night to make sure it did not shut off. I successfully used it as a Mama Hen to raise my day old chicks.

I was also looking at the
Producer's Pride Brooder And Coop Heater. I liked that it had the coop heater too. And it is $40 which is only $5 more than the sunbeam heating pad.

I've been going back & forth on them. I think those will be the last thing i buy since i can't seem to make up my mind!!

Ahh yes okay! but it comes with the legs and can be converted into a coop heater. Too many decisions lol

Do you remember which model you got? I think I did see you said Walmart. How long have you been using it? Is it still working well?

Pictures are best so here you go:

I seem to use it for everything but what it's was designed for. I wrap it around my Rabbits water bottle to keep the water thawed. Always wrapping any Electric element like this pad around in a circle really puts it's to the test and this has not failed me yet.

@aart has a really nice setup shown here, I used basically the same setup just some minor differences. No I used reflective bubble wrap over the pads and then a piece of PVC board over that. No way the pad was getting dirty.
