Public service announcement -- Ohioans take note!!! Leftover BCMs at Meyer hatchery :-)

Hi folks! Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I just picked up my last fall batch of chicks at Meyer Hatchery in Polk, and they have about 18 Black Copper Marans left over from last week's hatch they're selling for 1.50 each. Also some broilers and a few other varieties (I grabbed the last two Welsummers, I think...) Just wanted to give a heads' up to any BYCers in the area!

Oh, the frustration!!!

I was just on Meyer's site to see if they had anything available to ship today. My broody hen quit a few days ago and I have ONE lonely little BCM chick that hatched. I have family by there, but I'm guessing they won't be willing to pick up a chick and drive it out here to me!

Great for anyone by there, though!

SIMZ, if I had a car I'd go back up and grab you a few!! Really wishing I'd gotten a couple more, myself -- but I had to bum a ride from a friend, so I can't :-(
