puffy cheeks

Do you think he may have something stuck way, way, back in his mouth, like the back of the corner of his bill? Jeepers, poor guy, I just feel like there is something in there, but how do you even look in there?

In my perfect world you could get a quick x-ray to see if anything may be just behind his bill.

There are those little inspection mirrors for car repair - like the mirror-on-a-stick the dentist uses. Seen them at Harbor Freight and Auto Zone, at least. Can't imagine wrestling a duck for a dentist appointment though!

Wouldn't you think the body would break down and absorb something back there, after all this time? Can ducks get tonsillitis?

Sometimes things break down, other times not. Something like small splinters would eventually break down, but glass, metal, inorganic things would not. Even if there is no foreign body, she might see the "entry point" that introduced the original infection - a small cut or puncture perhaps, a bee sting or just scratches. It might even look like a pimple in his mouth. Then even if there's no sign of any of that, she might see something swollen or inflamed that can give a better idea of what's going on.

Edited - sorry, got you and OP confused

He doesn't sneeze at all. He doesn't have any discharge from the eyes or anywhere when I went and got this pic we looked at his ears and I guess they look okay nothing coming out of them anyways. Something I notices this time is if you push on his cheek and move your fingers backwards towards his neck it makes him swallow. I looked online and found an article about flushing his sinuses with a needle and saline solution is that what you would recommend.
THAT"S A PROBLEM.
