No, my ducks' nares are fairly smooth and oval when they are open (sometimes those things get PACKED with mud).
he doesn't want you to touch it at all. Tomorrow when it's daylight I'm gonna look at my other girls nares. If he won't clean it himself or can't any ideas how to clean it for him?

I think Lacrystol recommended using Q tips earlier somewhere. I like the coconut oil idea - it'll stay put for a while instead of running down the back of the throat like liquid-ey-er (lol) oils. Can you see what's going on in there - mud or hay or some other junk?

We did the water in the nostrils thing but we had to put him to bed I will bring him in with one of his girls tomorrow. Did you see the pic of the other side is that what it's supposed to look like?
no I didn't hang on let me go back is the other side still swelled or did it go down?!

And that's what I'm thinking he's got mud in there, Wondering what did the tub look like?? Also did you drain it with him in it? For some reason my ducks won't do the bobbing thing until the water gets low. Almost all gone. Lol
